The 12th house shows sayana sukha, which can mean everything we do in our leisure time, due to passion, as a hobby. Thus, because all of us are very interested in this, it is 12th house and UL which shows our real interest. Why after work we enjoy by reading a book, or smoking ganja or drinking alcohol, if this is not something very important to us? Venus is exalted in 12th Rasi, Pisces, and shows that we hanker after pleasure, be it kama sukh or Brahman sukh. Also, Venus has his mulatrikona in 7th Rasi (pleasure) and its DigBala in 4th house (mind). We have in mind the things which brings pleasure to us. Even shastras says that we are concerned only with happines and sukha, and not with another things.
UL is more important even then AL, for the same reasons. Mostly, UL shows our actions, and this is clearly seen in the life of a person after retirement. Thus, by these actions even our future is shaped (next life).
Sri Krishna. UL is in 3rd house (kama) with Venus and Mars, the lords of 1st and 7th. His only concern and activities, as God, is to enjoy, in Madhurya Rasa (Mars- Venus). The 3rd house shows also dancing (Rasa Lila) , singing (by His flute) etc. Also, He likes to be a cowherd boy (Mars- Venus shows a sheperd/ cowherd) etc. We are envious of Him about this Absolute Freedom of His to enjoy. Rahu in Cancer aspected by exalted Moon shows that He has also all the shakti to do so.
Sri Rama. UL is with exalted Sun in Aries in 10th house. His pleasure/ eternal Lilas are that of a perfect king who fights for Dharma.
Srila Prabhupada. The 12th house has two Lords, thus two UL also. One is in Aquarius with Rahu aspected by Saturn (poison) from Libra (chemicals). He was very passionate about chemistry. The second UL is in Leo with Jupiter- Sun- Ketu- this shows his activities as a preacher etc.
Steve Irwin. UL is in 8th house (research) in Gemini (playing) aspected by Moon (watery creatures). This was his only concern in life.
Ted Bundy. UL is in 8th (killing) unaspected, but Jupiter its Lord is in 3rd with Venus in Libra. This by itself is a very bad Yoga. Thus, sex was his main concern. Venus- Jupiter are aspected by Rahu (terifing/ horrible) which is aspected by Saturn (corpses). He was a serial killer and a necrophiliac.
Vlad The Impaler. UL is in Libra (justice) aspected by Jupiter (law), which is retrograde in Taurus. This shows a vigilante. Jupiter thus will act as in Scorpio and is aspected by all the malefic, and also by exalted Mars: the victims of his “trials” were impaled in spikes.
N. V. Godse. UL is in 8th (killing) aspected by Sun- Rahu- Mercury. He was interested only in scheming (Mercury) about his political fights (Sun- Rahu), and eventually he killed M. Gandhi.
Male. UL is in Leo (wandering in forests etc/ hunters) with Saturn (hunter), aspected by Ketu (hunters). He is a fishermen by passion. This is his main concern after retirement: to catch and kill fishes. How will be his next life?
Male. UL is in 8th (gambling), unaspected, with its Lord in Taurus (money). He is a gambler, interested only with this (what is doing this or that football team etc.).
